Judge Orders Late Term Abortion Clinics to be Shut Down.....

Temporarily, for now, but the details of the complaint are disturbing on a number of levels.

The complaint by Schuette followed a year-long investigation launched when pro-life activists discovered the bodies of 17 aborted unborn children in a dumpster outside Woman’s Choice Clinic in early 2010. They also found unredacted medical records and trash bags containing bloody or soiled cannulas, gloves, gauze, and surgical sheets, which require disposal as biohazardous waste.

17 unborn babies discovered in a dumpster

Set aside, for a moment, that 17 unwanted and almost born babies were discarded like trash on garbage day and consider that the medical records of the women were found as well, unredacted and for all to see. I hear so much about choice and privacy from abortion supporters and here we find the antithesis of both. Neither the women or the children are protected in this ignoble affair.

Inauguration

This has been a long time coming I suppose. For several years now, I have had a burr up my backside to start a real live blog. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of two great blog sites of late where I have spent most of my time discussing energy issues, that is hydraulic fracturing and natural gas primarily. This has been a great opportunity and I thank Pundit Press and the Lonely Conservative for their graciousness and encouragement, but I think and/or hope that the time to branch out has come and the need to take off the training wheels has arrived. Of note Pundit Press recently exceeded 1 million page views and the Lonely Conservative routinely finds herself within the top 100 conservative blogs. If you are not familiar with their work you are definitely missing out.

As this is my first entry it seems only appropriate that it would come on the eve of Freedom Works BlogCon 2011. As of right now, there is no where to go but up.
